Group 1 Brij Folk Dance

Brij Lok Nritya is a traditional folk dance originating from the Braj region, closely associated with the life and deeds of Lord Krishna. These regional folk dances are deeply intertwined with religious and cultural festivals, especially those celebrating the life of Krishna and the divine love stories between Krishna and his devotees, particularly the Gopis.

Group 2 Brij Raas Theme

Brij Raas, also known as Braj Raas or Raas Leela of Braj, is a form of divine dance and devotional performance deeply rooted in the cultural and spiritual traditions of the Braj region, which surrounds the town of Vrindavan in India. This region is historically associated with the childhood and youth of Lord Krishna.

Group 3 Nitya Raas Theme

Nitya Raas is a form of Raas Leela, a classical dance of Braj, India. It is a beautiful and divine dance that portrays the celestial love and playful interactions between Lord Krishna and the Gopis, especially Radha and Krishna. This dance enhances the overall spiritual ambiance and captivating charm of the performance.

Group 4 Maha Raas Theme

Maha Raas is a celebration of the divine love between Lord Krishna and His devotees, especially the Gopis (cowherd maidens) of Vrindavan. This sacred dance takes place on the night of the full moon (Purnima), when Lord Krishna, surrounded by the Gopis, performs a divine and mystical dance that symbolizes the union of the soul with the Supreme (Paramatma).

The “Shri Nath (Brijlok) Group” was founded by Pt. Manoj Dixit “Nimai”, a devoted follower of Radha-Krishna. He has dedicated his life to the promotion and preservation of Braj’s traditional arts. Through this organization, his mission is to provide a platform and employment opportunities to as many devotees and artists as possible across the world.
